The Social Action Team wants to welcome all Temple Emanuel Members to join our amazing team of volunteers.  I want to take this opportunity to give everyone a little background as to what the Social Action Team achieves.  We supply thousands of pounds of food to both JFCS (Jewish Family and Children Services) and the Cherry Hill Food Pantry. This year we hope to feed 2000 people a complete Thanksgiving meal, supply gifts to over 200 children during the Holiday season, supply supermarket script for our members in need, and the list goes on and on.  So why do I bring this up again?  Because we need your help.  Please try to attend one of our meetings and feel the love and enjoy the excitement of helping someone who needs your help.  This is a contagious feeling, it is a rush like no other.  I am so proud to chair this amazing group of volunteers who give of themselves to help those that so desperately need our help.  When you hear the stories of how our neighbors need our help, and you feel the pride in knowing you have helped a total stranger, you know you are part of TIKKUN OLAM REPAIRING THE WORLD.
